Let them build their own UI frameworks paying their own money. Engineering 
libraries keeping the need for corporate branding in mind is borderline 
confusion of priorities.

Also, we already had a period in the early 00s when it seemed every developer 
thought that unless you have a unique "skin" you're program is not worthy. It 
was atrocious.

Regarding the text mode, at least it can somewhat help if you can't solve 
accessibility in your GUI mode.
