iup seems to be a mature GUI lib since 1. the creator used iup in their [IMLAB](http://imlab.sourceforge.net/) , [FTOOL](http://www.tecgraf.puc-rio.br/ftool) and many other [Tecgraf Applications](https://www.tecgraf.puc-rio.br/iup/en/gallery.html) 2. there are many controls
the bad things are 1. the nim binding is too old 2. latest iup update on <https://sourceforge.net/p/iup/iup/HEAD/tree/> is on 2022/11/16. Does that mean iup has been abandoned?
