Except the whole fuss was about a word which wasn't even used in an
"aggressive" sense. It had the same meaning as "master key" or "master tape",
not master as "master vs slave".

So instead of pointing out this misconception so that the people who felt
somehow oppressed by the mere presence of that word (in a completely wrong
context), what did we do? We censored it anyway. That is a "micro-aggression"
against common sense.

Also, notice how the outrage over the word "master" never came from Slavic
peoples? They literally didn't care. And I assume you're familiar with the
etymology of the word "slav". Wonder why that is?

And what's next? Are we going to censor the verb "to remaster" (game, music
album, whatever) in favor of "to re-main"? Where does it end?

No. It is just cheap politics. It's pandering. And it's wrong.
