I think it depends on how fast you can start maintaining customer applications.
If it is quick change customer will think he can do same thing with someone
else: find new programmer let him small time to learn nim and he got new person
maintaining his code. moreover for secret even you already know some language
you need a time to get hands in old codebases to start doing something, and as
nim beautiful type system it much easier to read abandoned code. You can read 3
parts of official nim tutorial and mostly understand all code written by
someone. the reading tooks about one evening. PS you also have to be
experienced programmer in other languages becase learning from zero is the same
as learning other language as first but because its mostly C underneath nim I
may say of you learn nim as your first language its like you learn C as your
first language but easier
