Trying to post a message to the forum, apparently I already have an account - but I can't post the message because my email isn't confirmed...
So I go to my settings, I can see that the email address is set there, and is in an unconfirmed state... but there is no "please send me a fresh confirmation email" button (Feature request #1: Have a "please send me a fresh confirmation email" button) Seeing no other options I deleted my account and tried to create a new one Creating a new account with the same username and same email got "Unknown error" during the account creation process (feature request #2: have a better error message when account creation fails), so I tried with a different password just in case "Unknown error" means "password not strong enough"... tried a couple of variations, and then instead of "unknown error" it says "too many emails sent to this email address" (feature request #3: if account creation fails, don't send the email-address confirmation email) I see that it was in fact sending me emails... but apparently none of the emails contain valid links because the validation button just says "invalid ident", whatever that means (feature request #4: have a better error message for whatever happened here) Now I try signing up with a new email address, new username, and new password, that appears to work - but it was a struggle ;(
