Me and @Araq have been discussing what to do with the BountySource donations
(thanks @flyx for pushing us).

Since several months now we've received a fairly consistent amount of money
from the bounty source campaign. Now that we are confident that this is
sustainable, we'd like to spend the money on a new Nim core developer.

The ideal candidate should fulfill the following requirements:

  * Available for 10 hours each week (this is open for debate)
  * Experience with Nim (verifiable via existing Nim contributions and/or
Nimble packages)

We will introduce you to the compiler internals, garbage collector internals
and anything else that may be required to work on Nim.

Here are some of the things you could work on:

  * Making the garbage collector multi-threaded or thread safe.
  * `not nil` checking
  * Pattern matching
  * Stabilising Nim in preparation for version 1.0.
  * The standard library or the Nim tools and infrastructure.

The candidate needs to be available via Skype.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask here. Otherwise apply to
