I agree - Nim is a community driven project, like many open source projects, and it gets better only if you scratch your own itch. Small improvements to the documentation is, like dom96 says, a perfect way to start contributing.
[Edit] I agree that not everyone is command-line ninjas, and I think a link or two to good docs on setting the PATH on various systems elsewhere on the internet would be a good addition to the build instructions. I don't think you should expect anyone else to add that to the docs for you. I wouldn't bother, or even consider that information missing, simply because I know how to do this already. [/Edit]
