Hm: actual problem I found is much more severe, though revolves around those withTimeout proc as well. It's about hanged content downloads pending sockets.
So far, closing AsyncHttpClient seems to do nothing to actually abort connection and free socket. client.getSocket().close() ? Error: execution of an external program failed: %exe_name%
