Nim source size

The binary here at 
[https://nim-lang.org/download/nim-1.0.0.tar.xz](https://nim-lang.org/download/nim-1.0.0.tar.xz)
 is only about 4MB, however after I unzipped it, it became a whopping 770.7 MB 
directory, and the c_code directory in it contains 733.6 MB of files. Can I 
delete this directory after I compiled the binaries?
