I just posted a similar question to the nisus-interactive list with no real help. I researched and found a solution that works for me. I suspect this will also work for Nisus 6.
My solution has been tested on a PowerBook Duo 2300 with MacOS 7.6.1, PowerBook 5300 and 1400cs both with MacOS 8.1. Previously none of these would work with Nisus 5.x.x and Epson printer driver 5.57. No changes were made the Nisus. -- I searched the [EMAIL PROTECTED] archives and found MANY references to the copy/paste error of type 2 crash problem with the Epson printer driver 5.57 and Nisus 5. It makes no difference where you get that driver, US, UK or German sites, I tried them ALL with the same trouble. All such reported cases were using a serial connection, the printer port, not USB, with Epson printer driver 5.57 and Nisus 5. Also note Nisus 4.1.6 does not seem have the problem with Epson printer driver 5.57. I have since found Epson printer driver 5.50 and am now NOT having trouble with copy/paste in Nisus 5.1.3. If you need Epson printer driver 5.50, search for MSC7455A on the Epson ftp site. <ftp://ftp.epson.com/drivers/MSC7455A.SEA.hqx> You will need to remove ALL pieces of Epson printer driver 5.57 in the extensions folder and the Epson preferences file, do not just install 5.50 over an existing 5.57. You can search for epson, sc7, and stylus. 1) in chooser change to any other printer driver 2) move all pieces of the 5.57 driver to the trash, do NOT empty 3) restart 4) empty the trash 5) reinstall using the MSC7455A installer 6) restart 7) select sc740 in chooser 8) joy for me, best wishes to you -- Bee Santa Cruz, California 95065 >20021002 Don Collier wrote: > >I know there has been a million posts on this issue, but I can't find a >definitive answer. > >I have Nisus 6.0.2 on a 7200 running 8.1 and an Epson printer SC740.
