At Mon, Oct 14, 2002, the nimble fingers of Geoffrey Heard typed the following: >Well, I can tell you now -- if NW comes out with sliders for size of >leading, type, etc., I'll be gone. They are the most useless things >on earth, particularly sideways.
I would be surprised if Nisus were to make such a basic mistake. Font size, leading, paragraph spacing should be set using a menu or entering the numeric values in dialog. However, Nisus X may also make it possible to do so using a slider, for "amateurs" who do not use paragraph and character styles. On the other hand, a slider would be an intuitive way of implementing a zoom function in Nisus. Opera 6 uses this a approach and it can be very convenient. -- Mark Smith (InterLingual) <http://www2.gol.com/users/mspsmith/> Translation & Writing Solutions 6-8-401 Asahigaoka, Ashiya, Hyogo 659-0012 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> --------------------------------------------------- The Nisus Interactive List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Searchable archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/nisus-interactive%40nisus.com/ To unsubscribe from this list please send a message with "unsubscribe nisus-interactive" to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
