Hello: I am new to Nisus. A friend mentioned it some months ago. I am / was looking for a powerful substitue for MS Word, (knowing that I need to keep some compatibility, since I do live in a Windows environment :-p..), and this one seems particularly appealing.
I have an iBook (G3), with 258 M Ram, 700 MHz, OS 9.2.2 and OSX 10.1.5 A couple of days ago I downloaded the demo Nisus Writer 6.5 with Internet Explorer, while I was on OSX (though I knew that NW is still not OSX, I just forgat about when I finally took the decision of start the trial period). Knowing that it was for OS9, I moved the installer to the OS9 desktop folder before restarting in OS9. I installed it, and so far it works fine, but only in OS9... I can�t get it to open in Classic from OSX. The error message I get: �You seem to have copied the Nisus Writer demo to a different machine. Please use the installer to install a fresh copy�. I have not done that yet. I am wondering if I should download another fresh copy of the installer (have not checked if it can be done) before reinstalling. Any ideas? Gabrielle p.s. Isn�t there a way to zoom the window?
