'I've discovered one benefit of NW Express X that eats MS Word X alive.
Express X creates smaller files and allows longer file names than does Word X.

I'm into genealogy and receive numerous emails from contacts around the country. I use
the copy and paste method to convert the meassages into word processor files.

My comparison of resulting files sizes of a 2k email message disclosed the resulting
Express X files is 4k while if I cut and paste the same email into a blank Word X
document its file size grows to 24k. Since I have hundreds of email messages to deal
with the file size savings is significant.

Similarly, Express X's ability to accept the original email message's subject, date
and sender's name as the name of a saved file enables me to search saved files for any
particular one. Since Word X obliges me to abbreviate and/or truncate that same
information doing so makes it next to impossible to search messages converted to that
format.

Regards,
Bill
