Now, how do I remover it please? Control-click does not display a Remove to Trash option and click-drag is not permitted.

You have OkitoThesaurus.service in /Library/Service, right? If so, you have to change the owner of the folder and the services plug-in.

1. Download BatChmod <http://macchampion.com/arbysoft/> if you don't have it;
(There are other utilities for changing owner/permissions with GUI.)

2. Drag and drop /Library/Services folder on BatChmod;

3. Make sure /Library/Services is the target File;

4. Set Owner to yourself;

5. Check 'Apply ownership and privileges (to enclosed files)';

6. Click Apply;

7. You'll be asked to enter your admin password, so enter it;

Then you should be able to trash it and empty the trash.

Don't forget to set the owner of /Library/Services to root again.

Alternatively, if you are not reluctant to use Terminal, copy and paste the following line -- without return code -- to Terminal window

sudo rm -r /Library/Services/OkitoThesaurus.service

and hit return. You'll be asked to enter your admin password. So type it and hit return.
