Greetings
For a long time I have put up with NE X 1.6.1 scrambling the text of a message when
closing it but until now I've not been opening mail, doing something with the text,
printing it and Saving the changed message. Now I've got a series of messages to
experiment with.
What happens is that if I delete unwanted text from any place to the end of the text
[say, removing all remaining header details] then the saved message retains its
paragraph formatting.
However if, to improve those messages which have continous text without many separate
paragraphs by inserting a new line, and then saving, re-opening the message produces
one paragraph of text.
Altering the text in any way, as above for example, printing and closing the document
without saving will retain formatting and the original text.
It is annoying and can be quite expensive in increased paper usage if unwanted stuff
is not removed.
I hope this problem can be fixed with the next version of NE X.
