Folks- I probably should have introduced myself before getting
involved here, since I'm new-- though I bought NWE some time ago and
originally weighed in on the footnote discussion in the forum area.
Anyway, I'm not too concerned yet about the "offensiveness" problem
here, so long as I can disable the filter. Otherwise a thesaurus
isn't much use if it contains less and less content. I know children
need some level of buffering, but the general trend toward censorship
of adult word (and art) computer software troubles me.
So 'nuff heard on the subject from me. Nisus, you're going in the
right direction. Just hold out against the tide!
