Hello.
Currently live-dvd-X.nix supports choosing one of a few configurations at boot time, offline installation (with sources) and non-root user login. It can be used later as package source, but that requires linking /tmp/inst-store to mountpoint (as it is done during installation). It is just a set of options to rescue-cd-configurable.nix . So now the question is 'what to put on CD'. For example I added out-of-kernel MadWifi driver on DVD. So we need to decide what to put on CD - it is not more complicated than just writing a configuration for system. At least unless you try to provide choices instead of aggregation anywhere else.. Multiple independent choices are currently not supported.

OK, what software and drivers do we want (and may we distribute it, there are problems with firmware)?
