Well, I also created a package for the qt4 gui for WPA supplicant which I 
frequently use if I need access to WLANs. Then you don't have to write WPA 
supplicant config files yourself, but having NetworkManager support is much 
nicer, indeed :)

Yes, it would indeed be useful. Otherwise, I have to write config files for 
wpasupplicant by hand. :-(  And where would I put them if /etc is not a nice 
place in NixOS? ;-)
