I tried to report this on JIRA, but I couldn't access the NIX project to
create a new item. (All I saw in the dropdown box was GW and PHP.)
There is a small bug in the documentation (Nix manual) Chapter 2.
This is what the manual says currently:
See what installable packages are currently available in the channel:
$ nix-env -qa ’*’ (mind the quotes!)
Please note that the quotes above are NOT the ASCII quote character,
which is what they should be ("Smart quotes are dumb"):
$ nix-env -qa '*'
