General note: cleaning up old, broken, unmaintained packages is a good thing, but if a package builds and has a maintainer (like Geeqie) then - It's better to discuss removal or dependency issues with the maintainer (CC nix-dev); and - Posting "I'll remove <foo> in <N> days unless somebody objects" is not a great idea because the people who care about <foo> (such as the maintainer) might not see such a message on time. It also follows from this that packages should have maintainers. So if you care about a package that doesn't have a meta.maintainer and you have the time to keep it up-to-date, please consider adding yourself as a maintainer to that package. -- Eelco Dolstra | http://www.st.ewi.tudelft.nl/~dolstra/ _______________________________________________ nix-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.science.uu.nl/mailman/listinfo/nix-dev
