HP 2012.4.0.0 has been released. No further changes since the last RC. So all the preferences for the HP are implemented as haskellPlatformArgs_2012_4_0_0, and there's a Haskell packages attribute using those preferences as haskellPackages_ghc742_pedantic. I have no problems of switching the default to be that set of Haskell packages now. However, there's still the question how many packages currently are affected by vector-0.10 and primitive-0.5 ...
