Hi,

% cp /mnt/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf /etc
% wpa_supplicant -Dnl80211 -iwlp2s0 -c/etc/wpa_supplicant -d > wpa.debug.log

wpa_supplicant on the installer disc fails to establish a connection,
disassociating repeatedly with reason 3 (see attached log).

The exact same config works on my normal system.

Installer uses some 3.2 kernel, my system 3.7.10.

Network controller:

02:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 (rev 35)
Subsystem: Intel Corporation Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 3x3 AGN
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 43
        Memory at f2400000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=8K]
        Capabilities: <access denied>
        Kernel driver in use: iwlwifi

Known issue?

Is there a reason to keep the old 3.2 kernel for the installer?

florian
