I agree with that but I already have a habit to scroll down… So I wonder whether it is a good idea to establish a new global convention (and gradually migrate to it): meta should be as high as resonable in the expression file? (Cc-ing nix-dev) Benefit: new users see some human-readable description immediately after opening an arbitrary package file (in the long term, experienced users have to scroll less to see the description and maintainers…). Long-term drawbacks: I see none, what do I miss.
