Same error. I might need to look at the srpm and do a recompile. I also think it would be a good idea to bake the perl version into the prerequisites of the binary rpm to not give the false expectation it will work with newer versions of perl.
I have had a great deal of experience with building rpms a few years ago so shouldnt be too hard for me to muck around with that. Unless of course there is an easier solution :) On 5 Jan 2014 19:31, "Matt Paine" <[email protected]> wrote: > Nix-env doesn't know of any software to install, hence the nix-channel > update command. > > Perhaps I need to compile the nix tools from source ? > On 5 Jan 2014 19:09, "Vladimír Čunát" <[email protected]> wrote: > >> Hi. >> >> On 01/05/2014 09:59 AM, Matt Paine wrote: >> >>> So my question is... is there an easy way to create a base >>> /nix/var/nix/profiles/default to get me started? >>> >> >> I believe profiles are created automatically when you install something. >> (nix-env -i) >> >> Vlada >> >> >> >> _______________________________________________ >> nix-dev mailing list >> [email protected] >> http://lists.science.uu.nl/mailman/listinfo/nix-dev >> >>
