Congratulation for hard work! I'm install GuixSD 0.8.3 in other laptop with success, no error reported in momment. I did upgrade my old version, my current laptop, and it's ok.
I installed Enlightenment desktop in GuixSD with success (I wrote a post about it[1]). Any bug or question I'll report it.
