Hmm, indeed that helped. I made a directory called /public_services, allowed everyone to read from it and moved my config there. Rebuild worked. Now I'm confused with why doesn't postfix work (permission denied on master.lock) and what am I doing wrong there.
If anybody has a working postfix installation on NixOS, please share.
