Hi, On July the 26th support was added to `fetchTarball` for a `sha256` attribute [1]. Since that commit, it is also possible to use `fetchTarball` with the hash in restricted mode, thereby making it possible to load e.g. an external repository with urls and hashes.
`nixUnstable` currently refers to a build from March 24th [1] and therefore doesn't include this change yet. When could we expect a `nixUnstable` that has this change, and when about would that become `nixStable`? Because of the impact this change can have on automating version updates it would be nice to get this in as soon as possible.
