Using the new .DEF file I was able to use the DLL of version 2.0.2.
Great, thanks for the feedback.
Another minor issue: libnlop-0.dll in version 2.0.2 depends on
mingwm10.dll
(unlike version 1.2), so I had to manually find and add that dll to
make
nlopt run.
Oy, that's annoying. It looks like this is caused by the -mthreads
command-line flag, which I included based on a report that it was
necessary for thread-local storage to work under MinGW (I use thread-
local storage to make the random-number generation thread-safe).
I've taken it out for now, since the thread-safety is not documented
yet anyway, and for that matter I don't know whether -mthreads really
affects this anyway. I've uploaded a new .zip file again; let me know
if that fixes the problem.
Thanks,
Steven
