Thanks for posting the instructions Michiel; I didn't realize that
MinGW shipped a dlltool that could generate the .lib file from
the .def file; I'll include this in the .zip file for a future release.
(I'm also looking into cross-compiling a plain static library with
MinGW, which should allow people to use the lcc compiler that ships
with Matlab.)
