Hi all,
I'm getting the following error despite using ./configure --enable-shared and
setting the LD_LIBRARY_PATH..
/usr/bin/ld: ../.libs/libnlopt.a(optimize.o): relocation R_X86_64_32S against
`.text' can not be used when making a shared object; recompile with -fPIC
../.libs/libnlopt.a: could not read symbols: Bad value
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
mex: link of ' "nlopt_optimize.mexa64"' failed.
Could you please help?
