Thanks for your suggestion of looking into config.log.
I used a script to build nlopt in ArchLinux package format. It has messed
up build arguments for gcc, which is the reason of
'-Wl,-O1,--sort-common,-z,relro'.
The Matlab plugin is working perfectly now.
