I successfully used the CMake file here
http://ab-initio.mit.edu/wiki/index.php/NLopt_on_Windows
to create 32bit Windows dlls using Visual Studio 2013.

I tried modifying some of the advanced options in the CMake GUI to generate
the project I can use to build 64bit dlls. However, I wasn't able to get
the dll to compile properly. Given that there is a python whl for 64bit
that seems to be compiled with VS, then I assume this is possible. I'm just
not familiar enough with CMake to know what I need to do differently.

I would appreciate any advice.

Sorry if this has been discussed previously, but the archive is giving me a
403 Forbidden error.
