FYI, I am in the process of developing a word sense disambiguation tutorial (with Rada Mihalcea) that will be unveiled at the IBERAMIA conference in Puebla, Mexico in November.
http://www.inaoep.mx/iberamia2004/tutorials.html I haven't been to this event before, but it works out rather nicely since there is a word sense disambiguation workshop also taking place there, and the main conference (which follows the workshops and tutorials) is oriented towards AI. BTW, tutorials are usually short, fairly intensive classes given at conferences about somewhat specialized topics. Our tutorial will be 4 hours long, and focus on various aspects of word sense disambiguation, including knowledge intensive methods, bootstrapping, supervised approaches, and unsupervised methods.
