Good news. Bridget has successfully defended her thesis! Her defense went
very well, and drew some rather probing questions from Dr. Barry James and
Dr. Rich Maclin which she was able to answer quite well. The questions
mostly revolved around the asymptoptic assumptions made by the G^2, and
how to interpret and rank log-likelihood scores based on different degrees
of freedom. Very good questions, and best of all, good answers!
We will work on finishing the final version of Bridget's thesis, and once
that is ready we will post it on the web, along with code and other good
things.
Congratulations to Bridget!
