Hi Prath:

This sounds very exciting. Unfortunately I seem to be having trouble using the Google Hack. I tried to run “Semantic orientation”. Since I don’t have a Google API key, I tried to use the default (that is, I just clicked on “Submit”). When I clicked on “predict” on the next page, I got a “Cannot connect to server 131.212.41.117:32983”. What am I doing wrong?

Also, another general comment – I have nearly no clue what Google-Hack does, so it would be nice to have a brief introduction on the first page – maybe even a line of introduction for each option (Semantic Orientation/Word Cluster/etc).

Thanks!

Bano

Prath and I are happy to announce the release of v0.04 of Google-Hack:
You may download this from:

http://search.cpan.org/dist/WebService-GoogleHack/

There are many nice new features and improvements in this release, and
there is also a web interface that is up and running now that you
can use to try out the package.

http://www.d.umn.edu/~rave0029/cgi-bin/ghack/google_hack.cgi

This should still be considered a very beta version, but we'd be happy if
you'd give it a try and let us know of any problems you might encounter.

Enjoy!
