The WordNet::Similarity mailing list has quietly climbed above 100 subscribers (there are now 109). I think this is a rather impressive number, and certainly suggests that WordNet::Similarity is regarded as a stable and useful tool. (And of course it should be regarded this way because it is. :) This is certainly a tribute to Sid and Jason - Sid who first built the package we know, and to Jason who rebuilt it and added to it in many significant ways. Indeed credit goes back to Bano as well, whose Leskian algorithm really represented the start of this package even before we understood that the lesk measure could be split apart from word sense disambiguation!
