One small note from the Workshop on Parallel Text, of which I will have
more to say about later...

During Mike Maxwell's invited talk, there was some discussion of how to
get web users to help create data. The focus was on creating parallel
corpora for langauges that don't have much available online data. But,
this led to the mention of the ESP game, which is a way that researchers
at CMU are labeling image data with the help of web users, in a way
that is fun for the web users (which is totally and completely
crucial to getting volunteers to help create data).

You can see and play the ESP game at : http://www.espgame.org

Maybe we will label some images together - I am tpederse, as usual. :)

Enjoy,
Ted
