We are pleased to announce the release of the Ngram Statistics Package, version 0.73.
You can download from http://www.d.umn.edu/~tpederse/nsp.html There are two main changes to the package: First, we have gotten rid of the use of hard coded Unix-style paths in the code, which always caused problems when porting to Windows. Now we used the File and Config Perl modules, which let us refer to files in a more platform independent way. This change was implemented by Mahesh Joshi. Second, I made a few minor changes to our measure documentation. First, I provided a little more detail regarding the log - likelihood measure and Pearson's chi-squared test, and I also fixed a long standing bug in our Phi coefficient documentation.
