We are happy to announce the release of WordNet-Similarity-Visual. This is a rather experimental package developed over the summer by UMD student Saiyam Kohli. It provides a visual rendering of the the following measures - path, lch, wup, and hso.
http://search.cpan.org/~kohlis/WordNet-Similarity-Visual-007/ So, you can enter a pair of words or synsets, just like you do with WordNet-Similarity, and you'll see a graph that shows the paths between those concepts according to the measures above. This is a Linux only package, and it requires that you have Gtk2 available on your system (many Linux distributions will come with that already avaialble). So, if you are interested, please check this out and let us know what you think, or if you have any trouble with the package.
