We will have four more meetings this semester. They are scheduled as
follows...

Friday Nov 4, Apurva will talk about email classification, as has been
described in other notes.

Friday Nov 18, I would like each of you to prepare a short update of your
recent activities - what have you accomplished this semester in terms
of software development, experiments, papers, etc. and then what are your
plans for the spring semester. Please prepare some slides for this, and
make sure to include URLs where things can be found (if you have them).

Friday Dec 2, Anagha will do a practice talk for her IICAI presentation.
This will take place in a lecture room at about the same time as our
normal group meeting, although we might need to push that to 3-5 due to
room scheduling constraints. I will let you know.

Friday Dec 9, Mahesh will do a practice talk for his IICAI presentation.
This will likewise take place in a lecture room, details to follow.

Pleease make sure to read over Anagha and Mahesh's papers before their
practice talks. You can find links to those papers here:

So, our last group meeting for 2005 will be on Fri Dec 9. We will resume
our group meetings in January, once we know everyone's schedules for the
Spring semester.

We will continue to have our individual meetings at our normally
scheduled times up through the last day of classes (Fri Dec 16). We may
meet individually during exam week (Dec 19-22), but that would be decided
on a case by case basis and it would likely be at times other than our
usual ones.

So, that is our plan for the rest of 2005. Please let me know if you
have any questions.
