IJCAI is the main international AI conference - it occurs once every 4 years, and as such is a rather special event. In 2003 it was in Acapulco, and Bano and I had the pleasure of attending.
Now, in 2007 IJCAI makes its way to India! The timing of this is very interesting - it will be in January 2007, which is not that far away. As such the paper submission deadlines are in June 2006, which is even sooner. http://www.ijcai-07.org/call_paper.html So, do give some thought to submitting here, and perhaps even attending.
