As most of you know, we license all of our software under the GPL (General Public License, sometimes called the CopyLeft).
If you aren't familiar with that or don't remember, here's a faq with answers to various questions, among them, what is the GPL? http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html >From time to time it is helpful to revisit the terms of the GPL to make sure we fully understand them, and discuss them as needed. One of the things I like about the Free Software Foundation (the folks who put together the GPL among other things) is that they do a reasonably good job at attempting to educate people on what exactly the GPL entails (and does not entail). There are subtle questions that sometimes arise as to what is fair and unfair use, and it's important to understand that. As a part of this education effort, a quiz on the GPL is available.
