The call for participation for the first regional celebration of Women in Computing for the upper midwest (MinneWIC), February 12-13, 2010 is now available at http://minnewic.cs.umn.edu/index.html. We are looking for posters, lightning talks, Birds-of-Feather (BOF) sessions, panels, and information tables from students, faculty, and professional women. The deadline to submit a contribution is January 15, 2010. The registration fee for the event, which includes all meals and conference materials, is $25. Our sponsors have provided funding for scholarships for students and high-school teachers to cover the cost of the hotel accomodation. The deadline to apply for scholarships is January 15, 2010.
