As I've recently mentioned, I just got done setting up a network for a small 501c3 private school. The computer lab has 12 desktops all running Ubuntu desktop 8.04, and the gateway/server machine is running Ubuntu 8.04 server. I just installed ssh server on all the desktops, so I can administrate them remotely. Doing a bit of searching on Google, I ran across ClusterSSH, a tool for running the same command on multiple machines simultaneously.
Are there any people on this list that have any experience in simultaneously administrating groups of Linux computers? If so, would you recommend ClusterSSH, or some other program? Please explain why you use your preferred method. Thanks in advance for the advice.
