Hello NLUG,

Thank you for everyone's response on this issue. We had the meeting, I
think it was two meetings ago, in which people listed several meeting
locations that we may be able to go to. Kevin W. gave me a business
card from one of the people that works at TEKsystems. They would
probably give us a meeting space and feed us as well. However, I would
like to try to reclaim our previous meeting space in, I think it was
MRBIII, on the Vanderbilt Campus. Great location, lots of room to
spread out, huge screen for the projector, and we have been meeting at
this space for a very long time before moving to our new meeting
space. I believe the Visual Studio .NET group meets at the TEKsystems
location. The space is very large and has everything we would need.

I cannot remember who said that they were going to try to contact
Vanderbilt about getting that Meeting space back for NLUG, but we
should try this first. Vanderbilt is a very good centrally located
building that many people are already familiar with. If we start
trying to move too far away, I do not want to confuse everyone. Now,
while the TEKsystems location is nice, I would much rather have the
Vanderbilt meeting location due to our positive history with the
school.

That is my 2 cents worth on this topic. If the meeting location is not
a viable option, then we can definitely seek alternate meeting space.
It would be nice to have a backup just in case our current space is
occupied for the month we are having our meeting. This happened once
or twice when students were having exams or a lecture.
