No, the group is moderated to prevent spam from reaching the group. We have anyone that has not had a history with the group, their e-mail will be moderated. Once we have established a user as an active member, we usually remove moderation so that messages go unmoderated.
There are 6 volunteers that are supposed to monitor the list throughout the day.
