Hello Evan, At the last or the meeting before last, I think I spoke with this Meet-up organizer. I suggested that it may be confusing having two separate Linux user groups in town. He (sorry that I cannot remember his name) may have taken what I said to heart or could have run out of time to Administer the group. I do not know. I believe I suggested combining our groups together so we do not have half of our members at one vs the other.
I am a member of 4 or 5 meetups from Meetup.com and find the site very useful for most groups, despite having to pay a fee to host your meetup. I do not know how needed this Meetup.com group is. However, a lot of people search for User groups on this site. Then again, I could be mistaken as this past two months have been extremely busy for me. Kind of wondering if anyone has heard of it and visa-versa with us. looks like they might be slightly defunct as there isnt an organizer anymore but it might be something to look into to help expand the community (that is if we are unknown to each other) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NLUG" group.
