Does anyone have any experience using ddclient with zoneedit? I've been successfully using ddclient for dyndns for a while now (a couple of years) but tried to add a zoneedit domain recently and I'm seeing errors whenever I enable that update. I find the error a little confusing:
WARNING: file /var/tmp/ddclient.cache, line 3: Invalid Value for keyword 'ip' = '' WARNING: skipping update of cotharyus.net from <nothing> to 75.143.155.159. WARNING: last updated <never> but last attempt on Thu Dec 4 08:43:47 2008 failed. WARNING: Wait at least 5 minutes between update attempts. I haven't changed the way that the IP address is being aquired. I'm not specifying the IP keyword in the zoneedit config (nor the dyndns config) because the system running ddclient (hence where the update is coming from) is the IP I want the domain set to - which works fine with dyndns. In short, can anyone give me a pointer for this? My current config for zoneedit looks like this: ## ## ZoneEdit (zoneedit.com) ## protocol=zoneedit1, \ server=www.zoneedit.com, \ login=mylogin, \ password=mypassword \ cotharyus.net Thanks. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NLUG" group.
