One man's junk is another man's treasure. Right? To me, it's junk. You may have a different opinion. Here's the list, my address is at the bottom:
1. Sun GDM-17E10 monitor http://www.monitorworld.com/Monitors/sun/gdm17e10.html 1152x864 17" color monitor. Uses a 13w3 male out connector, not a typical vga connector. I've never fired it up, no idea if it works. 2. Assorted 1U junk servers - I have 5 of these. One has no CPU. The best has dual P3 850s and 1G of memory, but it's downhill from there. One of these is the former NLUG server. 3. 13" color CRT monitor - probably capable of 1024x768 or 1280x1024. Not that I would run it that high. This thing sat in nrep for years after I retrieved my lcd monitor and was too spooked to put it back. Still has my writing on top "Property of MCCC, feel free to use in NREP". 4. Sun Ultra Enterprise 450. This is a 400MHz Sparc, half gig of ram, 4x20gig scsi drives. Larger than a mini-fridge. Can be expanded to 4 cpus and some large amount of ram. Has space for 16 more scsi drives, for a total of 20. This thing was King Kong in its day. I have some version of Linux on it, probably Debian, but you can download Solaris for free to run on it, also. Note that you have to alert the power company before plugging it in so that they can throw more coal in the furnace. Claim it and pick it up. I'm almost always here, so any time is fine.
