Hello Raquel and everyone else,

We have to take a formal vote on this prior to allowing it to take
effect. Based upon the last several meetings that this will more than
likely win out vs. the 7pm time slot for the meetup group. The next
thing to do is to bring it to a vote in tomorrow's meeting. Which will
still occur at 7:00pm CST as normal in our meeting space in the
Biostatistics department. You do not have to be present to vote and
can send a response to this thread to cast your ballot.

The next order of business is to determine if we can re-claim the
tiered class-room that was used two years ago and before that. That
was a nice space with a very large projector screen, tiered class-room
style seating, podium, and well, it is still complicated to get to. I
think that is how most College campuses are setup either by design or
by need for expansion.

I have a contact at Vanderbilt and need to contact them to ask about
that meeting space. The only problem with that space is that sometimes
it is used by classrooms or students taking exams. If we could
schedule the classroom with the University's blessing a year in
advance, we could use that every month. Perhaps keep the Biostatistics
department space as a backup in case the classroom is not available.
No need to burn bridges.

I will send out the meeting notification later tonight. Need to send
those out a few days in advance instead of the night before.
